1st of Vaca

Hey everyone,

Well, the first leg of my vacation is officially completed. It was a wonderful week in the Dordogne area of France, which was incredibly beautiful. Charlene and I rented a car and drove through the beautiful country with no accidents and very few mishaps! Not bad for two Americans in France.

We saw some beautiful things, most of which was very old. We went to a medieval village built into to the cliffside call Rocamadour and we saw the caves of Lascaux, which are ancient cave drawings. Pretty much everything we drove by was gorgeous.

Only 5 days in Berlin and Poland to conquer now.

Enjoy the pics:

First stop, Paris

Little village of Brantôme

The foie gras region: I thought it was really optimistic to have pictures and statues of live ducks everywhere...like they made it

Reminds me of Grenoble

Approach to Rocamadour

The cathedral

Halfway up

The chateau up top

At the top

Little city along the highway

Nice place to work..

Know where we're going?

Now to the Roman stuff
